Sick of seeing the usual 'Live Laugh Love' home decor products and wall hangings, I set out to create something a bit more realistic. As a Northerner I'm a big believer in wearing your heart on your sleeve and have struggled with the expectation that everyone should be happy 100% of the time. Life is layered and sometimes it's helpful to see the glass half empty as well as half full.
As someone who often finds comfort in books, music and lyrics I wanted Brave Type to say some of the things I've thought and felt, but struggled to vocalise.
